CMScout is dead, long live CMScout! ::.::.:.. CMScout is dead, long live CMScout!Date: 26 February, 02:13After much deliberation and thought I have decided that CMScout 3 as it was will no longer exist. Instead CMScout 3 will be a specialised release of a new CMS called Infinitas (www.infinitas-cms.org). Myself and the lead developer of Infinitas have been talking and helping each other out for some time now, and I realised that we are both heading towards almost the exact same goals and following almost the exact same development path. Infinitas is the most mature of the two systems, and so we have decided to rather focus our efforts on making Infinitas the best CMS available. The CMScout project is still very much alive, however instead of being a independently developed CMS it will be a release of Infinitas with 'Scouty' plugins and themes built in |
